My Philosophy
Weddings aren’t designed to be centered around photos. The reason we all gather under the floral-dressed arbor is to celebrate your special day. While photos document the precious seconds of your wedding, my goal is to capture the moments as they happen. Sure, I will always have poses and direction to put your mind at ease, but what makes documentary wedding imagery so special is choosing to celebrate the natural interactions that happen throughout the day.

I’ve spent a few years in the industry to know the rights and wrongs of wedding photography. I’ll let you in on a little secret-weddings aren’t as fun when they’re a 6 hour photoshoot that’s crammed and pinched for time. Those precious moments of your day can feel like a forced smile until the end of your family photos.
What makes the best photos? Ease. Relaxation. Actually enjoying your anticipated day. I have taken a step back from being hired for a few hours of your wedding day and instead allowing me to poke in and out of the day so that you can actually take in the moment your mom zips up your dress or the buttoning of your jacket. All I want for you is to experience your day-the big hug from your little nephew or the stolen kiss up the aisle. Let’s celebrate you and the couple you are and not the fans on our Instagram.
